Apana Home

This house design stemmed directly from the roots of the client. Her Hawaiian and Australian background played a key role in the inspiration for the room designs By incorporating natural materials. The millwork featured several dominant lines pulled from inspirational images of ceramics, while other materials were selected based off of softer more textured components such as sand. Natural tones were selected to maintain a cozy environment while also remaining light and airy. This was achieved by implementing an open concept main floor as soon as you enter the house. As the viewers scan the room they see all that the space entails. Functionality was a high demand for this house as well as the client lives alone, this meaning it only made sense to give her a floor dedicated to her personal needs, including: her principle bedroom, ensuite, walk in closet, gym, and laundry.
